Hi - I've just got my first Bongo, great stuff. I've got a problem with opening the rear door from outside the vehicle. I can open the door form inside the vehicle by turning the lever on the inside of the rear door, but not from the outside.
Can anybody help ?
Thanks - John

Hi John, slide door or tailgate? (some tailgates have a catch on the inside.)

Re: Rear door opening
Obvious question , you are pulling the catch that is above the number plate to open the door.
if you are and still not working take it off (two bolts i think) and see if its broken there should be a lever on the door catch that operates the lock.

Lost without my Bongo.
Re: Rear door opening
I was thinking that Dave..! I always get my mates grabbing the handles & groping for a catch when loading up...
I've never had a problem with the sliding door, but i have have taken part of the tailgate assembly out to clean & lube the catch.. Could be a plastic clip to the catch rod popped out?
Mine being a tintop MPV doesn't have an a handle inside the tailgate.
