If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Sorry to hear you can't get to the bash Mike - here's to a speedy and full recovery =D> it

MOT Passed 100% ok (£35 well spent :D )

Now we have to decide if we come in the Bongo or not - tricky, everytime I drive it I start to get doubts about getting rid

Not long back from Silverdale having dropped off the Marquee and the veggie oil.

Several peeps already arrived including Snowkiter, Pixie & Thomas125.

Even caught a glips of (I think) Di & Jamie near Levens.

The site is looking lovely (and dry) - lots of new drainage installed. As you go down the hill onto the site hookups will be on the left and non hookups on the right of the track. We arn't using the rally fiels and the marquee will be pretty much where it was for the last couple of years. Most hookups are on hard standing.

Jo(pixe) and Pete (Snowkiter) have been briefed as to who goes where.

I shall (hopefully) be there from tomorrow afternoon but need to dive off for a couple of hours from around 4.00pm.

I have 12 x 15 litres of pure rapeseed oil available at £12 per box (80p per litre). 6 boxes have been pre ordered (if I can remember who by) so there are another 6 boxes available on a first come first served basis.

See ypu all tomorrow.

Don't forget, if you havn't yet booked you arte welcome to turn up at anytime for a non hookup pitch or as a day visitor.

cheers

We've had experience of 80mph winds (Buxton 07) & although a fair few took the roof down, those that left it up had no problems.

Its a tougher build than it looks.

Try not to worry - the roof really is pretty resisitant - mine has stayed up in the worst of conditions with my child in the roof - and if for any reason it had to come down - there will be awning spaces and seats going free I'm sure with this many of us going!

5 on the back seats qualifies more than a "bit" cramped  Having said that it could be a benefit if it's cold =D>

Pitch with the back of the van to the prevailing wind and all should be ok.

That is back towards the sea at Silverdale.

wots that muz fishes lol
Two little fishes is entirely possible, but check out the menu HERE. As they're dangerously close to Scotland, they do haggis as well =P~ =P~ =P~

PS - Muzette still believes that haggis are small fluffy things bouncing around the Scottish countryside, with two legs shorter than the others so they don't fall over on hills :?
Blimey this reminds me of myself lol

All set to go :D :D :D . Hope to get away about noon after I have taken June round to the local health center to have a blood test and her stiches removed. The neighbours have prommised to keep an eye on her for me now that her son is not comming up for the weekend to take my place. ( three of the neighbours are nurses and one is a doctor so she should be ok). :?

Twas me indeed H. I dont think you are on full bongo watch alert as I flashed my head lights (oo -err) about 3 times. When I waved you seemed to kinda 'wake up'. I'm worried that you are more programmed for spotting Kangoo's rather than bongos nowadays #-o
Its Elliots birthday today so we were heading into Kendal for his party but when I saw you heading for Silverdale I wanted to turn around. Probably the thought of spending 1.5 hrs with a group of rowdy 6/7yr olds. Having experienced the party how I wish I had turned around
See ya tomorrow all. All being well we will be there early PM.

Thanks for the wellwishes gang. Tonight I'm stiff where I shouldn' be and not stiff....well never mind

Have a great time y'all. Expect I'll be supervising Will all weekend with the homework he hasn't done, since half the things I needed to get done will have to be cancelled due to lack of a useful arm :(

PS - Oh and congrats on the MOT MJ&E, hope you get over the Bongo blues. I get them at times too (not often mind!) but today when it drove me to work one armed and in comfort, I knew it was simply the best 8)

Sorry you're not going to be there Mike - would have been good to meet you and show you my LPG tank, especially as you're the one that's shown the most interest! I'm sure our paths will cross soon.
All the best for a speedy recovery.
