egr blanking

Hi all, does anyone have any pics of the location of the pipes etc that i need to access to blank off the EGR?

How are you blanking the EGR Alectroll?

I'll be getting a set of blanking plates and not the good old 2p trick!!!

AHA! That's exactly what i was trying to determine! :D I Used the same "Nick skidmore" kit as Kirsty used.... :wink:

Thanks Kirsty for the link to the lushproject stuff, not overly technically minded when it comes to van maintenance as my speciality is fixing airplanes!!!! I'll probably ask someone local here for a hand with it, which are the best blanks to get please?

I dunno if Nick skidmore still sells his kit via the forum... But i know that Allans vehicle services does...try pm'ing Doone. :wink:

I've seen him crop up on the forum once in a while, but I don't think he made very many of those, collectors items :wink:

Give Allan's in Plymouth a shout for the blanks, only £12 for the two flat blanking plates I think, link on the main site home page. If you look on the second link I posted it points you at the factsheet in the members area - with photos :wink:

If you do get the blanking plates from Allan, they come with fitting instructions and photographs of the actual job/pipes etc, so you won't need to search for other photos. :)
Allans Garage retired. Try PGS (Plymouth Garage Services) or Mayflower Auto Services Plymouth
