As far as I know some do come with sunroofs, but I would of thought that to reto fit one would be a nightmare as the roof is ridged.

So does mine! :D Though the roof is conveniently un-ridged where the glass fills the hole... :-k
Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...

Looks like a very difficult retro fit. I have an original glass sunroof and one would be very difficult to install on a non sunroof Bongo. Like everyone else has already said, the ridged roof is flattened in the middle for the sunroof.

Also the roof is large and the glass looks very heavy. It is powered with a motor somewhere in the roof and mine rises and lowers into position as well as slides.

Its a great bit of kit. :D :D I have mine open a lot, perfect for ventilation plus security when camping. Also great for having the dog in the Bongo, since she can get air without being able to climb out.

Since the tintop roof is strong enough to take the size of the roof opening, it could be possible to install a a non powered roof although sealing the edges would be difficult with the ridging. :?:
