I know EXACTLY how you feel. :D
Someone mentioned replacing the other three main hoses - why not all the hoses, are the big bore ones more susceptible to failure than the smaller ones.
Especially when they overheat, the hoses that most commonly fail seem to be the bleed hose, the one above the starter and the top hose to the engine. If you're lucky you will notice that they are swollen and softer than they should be, so you can replace them before they blow. But sometimes you don't get any warning.

dont forget the big metal pipes as well

they can pinhole
