loose rear blower director!

Post by FREDA MIND » Tue Sep 22, 2009 8:35 pm

hi guys,
i have a loose rear upper drivers side blower director that i want to refit .
i can see that it is held in place within the headlining via star clips pushed onto the plastic legs of the piece vus retaining it within the cut out in the headlining.
the problem i can see is the star clips need to be fitted from inside the headlining, . #-o
what is the best way to gain access to do this?
have i got to remove the front headlining, this looks a tad tricky.
hope someone can help
cheers rick [-o<

Yup, really you've got to get behind, not too difficult, unclip the trim around the hatch hole & the upper plastic trims on eitherside that overlap the roof lining, unclip the scrivets & you should be able to drop the lining enough to gain access.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
