Morning all,
My skinny spare has gone south for the winter,
rubber looks real poor so i am thinking is there a straight swap
i can do say a wheel tyre that will suit direct from a breakers yard
is there any vehicle that would be a good donor
thanks in advance
Jim

There are wheel comparision sites " not sure if it will show the mazda bongo?"
as long as wheel size, width, diameter, pcd, offset and pcd centrebore is the same, plus the height of wall of the tyre you should be ok. - Infact that is quite alot. Not as complicated as it sounds - these wheel sizes show other vechicles and list this information so you can compare it on a table type format.
Sorry can not remember the names/links - I think you google some thing like alloy wheel sizes?
I expect the chances of finding the right wheel with the right tyre on off a different vehicle at a brakers is slim - best chance to get another bongo wheel would be to get another bongo wheel, still maybe have to change the tyre-
Centre bores on large vehicles are normally bigger, I presume cause driveshafts/cv's and hub are bigger because of the weight.
I wanted to use a pug or saxo wheel as a spare for my berling a while back, dam centre hole was to small.

Re: Wheels / Tyres
The advice I was given (and took!) was to get a standard Bongo wheel and fit that in the spare wheel bay (they do fit)
Chuck the spacesaver, it's more of a spacewaster!

Re: Wheels / Tyres
I have three wheels and an original skinny spare in my garage, (I have the fourth original as my spare), Missus wants them rid out of the garage!!! Looking to get rid of three originals at reasonable offer/s.
