It was so busy on Sunday the grandstands were sold out and we were almost on the finish line before we found somewhere to sit on the banking. Watched the first rounds of eliminations and then went over to the arena because we hadn't seen any of the stuff in there. Wandered around for a bit then watched Titan the robot. Went back and put the awning away and the radio station warned of lots of traffic. Joined the queue at the back of the grandstand at 5pm, out of the gate at 5.45pm home at 8.40pm so a really good journey over all.Muzorewa wrote: How long did it take you to get out onto normal roads?

Those of you that experienced 2 x Top Fuel Dragsters running the 1/4 mile at Santa Pod might be interested in this.
Search youtube for - zmax nitro 4 wide - yes that's right 4 wide.
When they built Charlotte Raceway in Carolina they thought we've got the space lets build 4 lanes.
Over the weekend they were running demonstration events of 4 wide Top Fuel Dragster and Funny Car racing.
