My Bongo's lost its ummph

Post by Timbo » Mon Sep 21, 2009 10:09 pm

So my Bongo is working well - but its accelerating a bit too slowly - it's automatic and it feels like it moves up the gears too slowly- needing the revs to go a bit high - you notice it most on hills. That said, it can still cruise along happily at 80 up and down the motorway - its just feels like its lost some power - especially when wanting to maintain slower speeds up hill.

What do people think might be up??

Turbo boost tube come off?

It's what tells the pump to inject more fuel because the turbo is blowing.

If it falls off you get more air, but no more fuel to make use of it.

Do a search and you should find something on it.

That makes sense - as I think it first did it after I had to accelerate fast - and I notice the revs shoot right up
