Hi Folks,
Does anyone know where I can get a supply of the little push-in door switches (the ones that tell you when the door is open)? A couple of them on my Bongo aren't working and I'm getting fed up with my alarm arming itself when the doors are already open.
Thanks in advance,
John

Re: Door open sensor/switch
Sometimes all it need's is to take the pin switch off and clean the contacts. 13 year old bongo's just might need a little tender loving care.
Lost without my Bongo.
Re: Door open sensor/switch
From what i remember, the door switch earth's to the body using one screw. If they come lose that's all that's needed to lose the ground for the cab courtesy lights..
I know what yer saying about the alarm resetting,
my tailgate latch switch was dodgy till i gave it a good clean out.. Was clogged with what looked like old news paper!

Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...

My passenger door switch stops working every 6 months or so - just needs a spray with WD40 or similar & a good bit of working in & out.

Thanks for the tips, Guys. It sounds like a bit of cleaning might be worth a try, so I'll get the Mrs onto it straight away.
