Another blonde question?

Sorry to be asking so many questions

I have just been told that I must not use blue antifreeze in my coolant system,it must be pink or green.
When my level was low I topped it up with ...yes, you have guessed it ..blue coz i diidnt know there was any other colour.

So whats the difference and have I made a big mistake.....it was only a little bit I used to top up

Its a bit involved (for my little brain anyway!) but mixing different types of coolant is covered here

I suppose if it was just a small amount then it probably wont be much of a problem, try and use the same colour as whats in the header tank.
as for asking too many questions, no such thing, ask as many as you like ,you may even get a correct answer.
