Nice looking factsheet but the PDF file will not show photos for me and opening it seems to have slugged my PC. Anyone else having this problem?

As fas as the device goes (and forgive me my lack of patience, its my slugged PC) does it require a 240v supply (limits usefulness for me if so as not useable when wild camping) and does it give hot water you can use for washing, showering etc. In short, I'm trying to work out what it does that could not be done by another simpler means (except prewarm the engine, but I can live without that)

It is a larger file than most or all of the other fact sheets so if you have a slowe connection you may have a problem.
Suggest you make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Reader, V9.
Then try this: Open the file to the first page only, then save a copy to file on your computer. It may take a little while to down load to file if your connection is slow. Once down loaded it should be responsive when opened from the downloaded version.

The the whole idea of pdf. files is to compact the whole document, including the JPG files. The standard program for opening these is Adobe Reader in this case it must be V6 or better. The latest version is 9.1. A link is provided to it at the beginning of the fact sheet data base, it is 37Mb download mined. Just over 4mins on 8Mb
The Pre Heater is not for wild camping. There is a very useful small fan heater can be used at a push with an inverter at 600W will draw 60A/hr, but great when used with a hook up, very compact, can probably be purchased separately. The additions to the venting of the cooling system fact sheets can be adapted for use without the pump.
The Pre heater will be of particular interest to those burning SVO. Also those wanting to save wear & tear on their engine, especially where lots of short journeys. Those who have 'health ailments' will appreciate the instant warmth in cold winters. The full saving, on full consumption, wear & tear will possibly save the the cost of electricity used.
