Bongo stalling

Post by Grim up North » Thu Sep 10, 2009 11:42 am

In the last week my Bongo has stalled a few times while at junctions etc, always first thing on a morning when its 'cold' also takes a bit of starting, had no problems until recently and once it has run for 15-20 mins its fine, could it be in need of a fuel filter change or heater plugs or could it be injectors which i have been told could be expensive.

Glow plugs are favourite, although I would expect it to run fine in less than 15 minutes :?

Go for the easy things first, change the fuel filter (fill the new one with injector cleaner) & check the banjo filter/strainer, check the glow plug relay is doing it's job & the glow plug rail is getting it's voltage when it should.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
