Passenger door not working

I left the ignition key in for a week and returned from hols to find a dead battery. After solving that problem, the passenger door would no longer open. I've tried to locate which fuse relates to the door but there is no diagram on the fuse panel.

My Bongo is at the garage and I'd like to get the information to the mechanic to save him some time...

Can anyone help please?

Fuse diagrams are in the Members area Factsheets if you want them, Cabin & central locking fuse is no 16, 40a second row far right.
I assume you mean the central locking doesn't work? can you unlock the door manually? It may just be a matter of disconecting the battery for 20 seconds & reconnecting as the I think the CL module can get confused.
Or it could even be the wiring loom going through between the door & body?

Front passenger door, or the rear sliding one? Either should open ok using the outside handle as long as you have pulled the locking knob up. Only exception would be if someone fitted an after-market deadlocking kit (which I have yet to come across).

There have been posts on here before about problems with the sliding door after loss of power. Try a search for 'sliding AND door' & some answers should pop up.

It turns out the problem related to the child lock. Some tiny mini-me hands had been fiddling with it before the battery went dead. Don't know how the mechanic accessed it to fix it though.

It should still open from the outside with the child lock on, that just stops it being opened from the inside Hope he didn't charge you much

Ah yes, there are many tales on here related to the child lock. Now you know !! Glad it was a relatively simple fix.
