Leaky fuel pump

Any ideas where i can get a cheapish reconditioned fuel pump as i got a hole in mine and my mystery machine is doing about 15 to the gallon at the mo ....ouch

you have a hole?, or do you mean its leaking from a seal? if so this thread will be a much cheaper option :arrow:

I've got to do mine very soon, so a big thankyou to Dandywarhol for the step by step guide.

Meanwhile I've cut the top off a plastic drink bottle (a ridged one that takes a thin wire round it without dropping down) this is wired to a handy pipe nearby. Amazingly it hasn't melted and is slowly filling up. I've given up looking at it every day because it fills quite slowly. It will have to be done by MOT time.
Lucky it's not petrol!

I'm not getting the chip shop smell any more so guess not much is going elsewhere.

This will teach me not to get smart with facetious mission statements (see below)!!
