My Hold light is flashing and following the Transmission Fault Code instructions on this site, the code given is 64, which appears to be the Pressure Control Solenoid. Where abouts do I find this solenoid, and waht fault finding can I perform?
Thanks
Phil

Re: Pressure Control Solenoid
I'm assuming it'll be inside the transmission? Have a look on the Lushprojects schematics here - http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/ may help pinpoint it. What year & fuel type have you got?

Re: Pressure Control Solenoid
I would imagine its part of the solanoid pack that gets replaced all together
Re: Pressure Control Solenoid
It is a 1995 diesel 4WD automatic. What is the solenoid pack that is replaced and where can I buy one?
Thanks

Re: Pressure Control Solenoid
I'd guess at 211D1 211D2 on this schematic - http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... 02.html#60 May be worth a call to a transmission specialist such as Dunnings in Weymouth - 01305783113 for a bit of specialist advice & info on gearbox parts.
you may be able to get the parts using the part numbers from the list on the left on the schematic (got to click on solenoid about 2/3rds down) & then use this website

The other day when I was trying to find a part for my car, I found a very useful website in China of all places.
What you do is get the part number you are after from say Lushprojects, and put it into this website.
It then gives you a detailed picture, other cars that use the same part, and who makes the part.
Doesn't work for every single part but it does for a great many.
In my case I was looking for an idle control valve, air filter and a new coil.
This is the example it comes back with on the coil.

Best to open in a new window otherwise the text doesn't display properly.
Remember mine is a petrol bongo, hence my example but it works for others too.
Hope you find it useful, I did not only as it has pics etc, but also know I know the other cars that use the same part it helps give me alternative places to get hold of it.

Re: Pressure Control Solenoid
Did a search on "solenoid and pack" on here, lots of results, thought this may be of some use - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... ck#p209770 if not, while you're waiting for someone more knowledgable to come along, have a trawl through the old stuff using the search function with a few word combinations, just remember to put "and" between each search word.
Good luck getting it sorted, keep us posted.
