Re: The Shady Oak
Hi Folks
The chairs dont belong to Jet ski they are ours, we left them behid after to may ciders on Tuesday afternoon.
Who has got them now?
If And and Den can hang onto them we will pick them up at the next meet.

Yep it passed no problem but I was confident as I went ove it with a fine tooth comb but it was good to hear the MOT tester that it was in cracking nick underneath.
Thanks for asking Dave.

Re: The Shady Oak
Campsite has only been open this year. Lovely setting as you can see on their website. Basic facilities 2 toilets in Gents and 2 in Ladies, plus sinks and 1 shower in each .Enquired about taking 30 Bongo,s the owner could not commit as yet, you would be better Ian telephoning him to enquire. Showers were 50p for 3 mins ,you get a token from the pub.Few hard standings with hook-ups and a field with hook-ups. Very friendly owners . Barge trips on the canal, nice walks etc. Elsan point and water point. No washing up facilities as yet .Clean and well maintained site. Think thats all for now
.But yes a lovely site as said before

It makes a nice change seeing people shading from the sun and not the rain.
