does anyone know where i can get rear wheel bearings at a realistic price.
Also how do you remove the bearing without trashing the half shaft.

Re: rear wheel bearings
got the bearing sourced for a very reasonable £25
now just to find someone to press the bearing off for me and i'm back on the road.
the bearings are made by KOYO, BREDA,YOUNG,FAG,SKF,IRB so no need to pay through the roof for one.

Re: rear wheel bearings
I used to work for a bearings supplier, always try and get the number off the bearing and give this to the engineering supplies sales desk and they should be able to supply a complete kit, not just the bearing. At the very least they can tell you weather the bearing is available or specialist supply only, and as always shop around......
oh and ps I'm sure things won't have changed that much but SKF were the best quality by miles, worth the extra pennies...
