Evenin all...i think ive broke.... me bongo I have had lots of water problems and pipe changing etc etc and know Ive changed the pipes and bled the system but have got a new oil leak and a shiny screw thing sticking out of the side of the engine(drivers side)..does it sound like i might of blown the head gasket or cracked the cylinder head...its not very keen to start either....sounds like the starter motor might need replacing...has anyone had stuff like this done before and roughly how much...educated guesses will do..cheers neil

Sounds expensive - could you post a picture of the shiny screw thing?

Are you still getting water loss? any visible water leaks? where's the oil leaking from?
What do you mean by not keen to start? is it turning over slowly? turnig over but tsking a while to actualy start? sometimes not turning over ? clicking?
We need more detail before we can try & help.
As Widdowson said, a pic of the screw sticking out would help as well

Posting a photo here - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... =42&t=9285
Basically, open a free photobucket account, upload the photo to that, setting the photo size at 640x480 pixels, then copy the IMG link & paste it on here.
If it's still gurgling & the unmodified temp gauge is moving, you've still got a problem - are you sure you've bled it properly? has the large hose coming out of the rad got warm when you've bled it as per the factsheet instructions? It can take a while to get warm enough for the stat to open.
Sounds like it could be time to find a bongo friendly garage? there's a list in the members area.

That looks like the end of the glow plug rail to me - could be wrong - it's a bit blurry - may explain the starting issue?

The shiny thing is a glow plug - maybe why you've got bad starting.

You were a bit more specific, my brain & eyesight a bit slow  Looks like the glow plug needs tightening down or possibly replacing, how has it come undone like that on its own :? ?
