The Plastic button on the drivers floor ???

Does anyone know what the button on the floor ,by the gas pedel is for ? :|

It's just a stop if you mean the one under the accelerator pedal

Just been to look at mine and if you turn and pull the plastic 'button' off there is an adjustment screw and nut underneath. As Kirsty says it looks like its just to adjust how far you can push the pedal down. Never noticed it before and thought it might be something ingenious...............but no.

Wondered what this did, as I thought it might be something to limit throttle movement. In any even stuck a black rubber disc over it to limit movement for MOT as I think its cruel to subject a Bongo to maximum revs 5 times even with a hot engine.

I think it just there to hold the carpet in place - it seems to have no actual function :?
