V6 Fitting a TM2

Post by belsbus » Wed Aug 05, 2009 12:48 pm

Hello,

I am new to this wonderful world of Bongo. I took posession of my 8 seater (now 5 seater and big boot!) last week. I drove it down to exmoor and back from salisbury over the weekend....it was fantastic such a smooth ride!

I am however paranoid about the overheating thing and have bought a TM2. Does anyone know of a garage in the Salisbury area who could fit it for me (I am incapable of this....if you saw any of my DIY you would agree). I could take it back to the place I bought the Bongo from but just wondered if there is anyone closer?

can anyone help?

Any decent local garage should be able to do the job...Any problems ...get yourself along the A303 to Somerset and I will see what I can do.
What you have is a TM-2/Low Coolant Combo fitted into a clock unit. This will take about 60/90 mins to fit if all goes well.

Many thanks for that. I am going to check out a couple of garages recommended by friends tomorrow. Have just looked at your address and you are very close to my parents who live near Burnham on sea. I will give you a call if have problems.

Best wishes
