Standard size 195/70x15 front and 215/65x15 rear.
What the problem with your speedo? can give more advice if we know that 8) You could also try here http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

HI, THIS IS MY FIRST POST SO BEAR WITH ME, I DONT UNDERSTAND ALL THE TECH STUFF, I JUST DRIVE MY BONGO 2.5 4WD diesel(THE ONE WITH SPLIT SEATS AND ELEVATING ROOF) AND HOPE THAT IT DOESNT GET SICK.

HAVING SAID THAT, I JUST TOOK MY BONGO IN WITH AN OIL LEAK, THIS WAS FIXED BY TIGHTENING SOME BOLTS UP. WHILE THERE I WAS TOLD THAT THE RADIATOR NEEDED REPLACING, & SOME HOSES. ALSO THE REAR HUB (I GUESS THIS MEANS THE WHEEL HUBS) WAS LEAKING AND NEEDED FIXING. I ALSO HAD FITED SOME SPRING ASSISTERS AT REAR.

FOR ALL THIS AND THE REPLACEMENT FLUIDS NEEDED/LABOUR I PAID OUT £540 !!!!! OUCH.

I STILL NEED 4 NEW TYRES RECOMMENDED 215/65x15 ALL ROUND. ANYONE KNOW WHERE IN PETERBOROUGH AREA I CAN GET 4, WHAT MAKE TO BUY AND HOW MUCH TO PAY FOR THEM?

NOW ONE DAY AFTER PICKING UP MY BONGO, IVE NOTICED THAT THE A.B.S. WARNING LIGHT IS ON ALL THE TIME, NEVER HAPPENED B4 IVE HAD VAN 2.5 YRS. WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED, COULD THE SENSOR HAVE BEEN DISTURBED WHEN REAR HUB WAS BEING SORTED? HOW DO I FIX IT?

ALSO THERE IS AN ANOYING SMELL IN THE VAN THE KIDS SAID IT MAKES THEM FEEL SICK, MY HUBBIE SAYS ITS THE SMELL FROM THE NEW RADIATOR, IS THIS HOW A NEW ONE SMELLS AND FOR HOW LONG? (FORD ONE FITTED NOT MAZDA GENUINE).

WE ARE GOING TO DRIVE TO MONTPELLIER S.FRANCE IN TWO WEEKS TIME, WITH 5 KIDS PLUS US 2 IN VAN, AND A LOADED ROOF BOX.
SO WE NEED A FIT VAN. GOT RAC EUROPE COVER BUT DONT WANT TO HAVE TO USE IT.

WHAT SPARES DO YUALL RECCOMEND WE TAKE WITH US? MOST THINGS RECENTLY REPLACED AT LAST SERVICE 3MONTHS AGO.

AND ANY TIPS ON WHETHER WE SHOULD TRY USING RAPSEED OIL TO CUT DOWN ON FUEL COSTS FOR OUR TRIP, AND HOW DO YOU GET IT INTO THE TANK, WHAT % MIX, WHERE TO BUY HERE AND IN FRANCE. AND WHICH PETROL STATIONS BEST TO USE IN FRANCE?

I HAVE MANY MORE QUESTIONS BUT I THINK THIS IS ENOUGH TO BE GETTING ON WITH, DONT YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!:) PAMMIE

Do you know your caps lock key is stuck on?

Plenty of places in Peterborough for tyres, just ring around a few places and get quotes. If you go for 215/65 all round they must have a minimum load index of 96 and the supplier must be aware of that - any less is risking trouble.

Diesel is cheaper than veg oil in France so just get to the ferry as low on fuel as you dare and fill up as soon as you can the other side - if you are crossing to Calais the Auchan store near the Tunnel terminal is about as cheap as you'll find - DO NOT wait until you are on the autoroute, as the Total just south of Calais must be one of the dearest filling stations in France.

As for the rest I've no idea but I'm sure someone can advise.

HI THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY, AND GOOD ADVICE:)

CAPS LOCK KEY? WHEN I TURN THE KEY THE LIGHTS LIGHT UP ON DASH AS NORMAL, I WAIT TILL THE ONES THAT ARE SUPPOSE TO GO OFF THEN I START UP. THE A.B.S. LIGHT ALWAYS GOES OFF. BUT SINCE IVE HAD MY VAN REPAIRED ITS STAYIN ON ALL THE TIME UNTIL I SWITCH THE ENGINE OFF..

NOT SURE WHAT HAS HAPPENED BUT COULD IT BE WHEN I HAD THE REAR HUBS DONE , I HAVE LOOKED AT THE DIAGRAM(ON BONGO FURY FACTSHEET PAGE) OF THE ABS SENSORS ON THE BACK WHEELS, AND I SUSPECT THAT THEY MAY HAVE BEEN DISTURBED.

quick one on the query Radiator smell....... just fitted a new one ( Mazda)...... no smell from mine at all other than a like a new household cooking pan for about 5 mins.....

As for fuel....... follow the advice from Scanner....... also look at this site http://www.prix-carburants.gouv.fr/ gives fuel prices across France ......click the area your travelling and Gazole and there will be your diesel price......

This is for region 62....as you get off the ship............ the places are in alphabetical order and when you find the one you want click plan and it gives the directions.......

Cool, now the caps not HYSTERICAL
Breaks the lyrical flow, when you spell it like an eye chart
The scan was breaking my heart
I don't think i is colour blind unless you's bussin in RED too
You plannin taking your crew to Montpelier? That's a nice part of Bristol for cultural exchange
My hood aint far away so if the Bongo gets mean, my boyz can smoke it over & bill it clean
I know what you say about the annoying smell in the van, but what hell!
The source of mine is more the herbal kind
When my crew complain & start to feel sick, it's not long B4 they pass out quick!

Respect.

COULD THE SENSOR HAVE BEEN DISTURBED WHEN REAR HUB WAS BEING SORTED? HOW DO I FIX IT?
If it was fine before the hubs were done then they may have disturbed the wire, I'd take it back to the garage and ask them to fix it.
ALSO THERE IS AN ANOYING SMELL IN THE VAN THE KIDS SAID IT MAKES THEM FEEL SICK, MY HUBBIE SAYS ITS THE SMELL FROM THE NEW RADIATOR, IS THIS HOW A NEW ONE SMELLS AND FOR HOW LONG?
We've had 3 bongos now and each one had a new radiator, I've never noticed a smell. People have commonly noticed smells from leaking coolant and oil, new underseal or from the aircon.

http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... no=.html#2 part 61820 I reckon you're after, the front part of the air intake, any bongo breaker should be able to help you there.
