It could just be a mechanical part of the vehicle vibrating . Happened with a vehicle I had years ago when accelerating uphill under load.
It didnt make the horrble 'muted foghorn ' type noise when accelerating on flat roads.

If you downshift, or reduce amount you are accelerating uphill, does the noise reduce/change ?.....
Yes it does the noise goes away on deceleration.

They all do that, until after you have overheated. Don't trust the 11 o'clock reading. Fit a mason alarm.

Might well be nothing to do with your fog horn issues - but I'd be erring on the side of over-cautious with a Bongo cooling system.

(In fact, i have a low coolant alarm, and a mason alarm - and my Bongo's still on a boat somewhere!)
Mason alarm next purchase me thinks!
