Addzest gismo - What is this?

Could anybody tell me what this is and what it does?
The cable coming from it dissapears behind the glove box.
Having checked the web site addzest deal in audio stuff but I cant find it on their site.
Anyone???????

Judging by the shape, i don't think no more than ten to fifty metres range..? I could be wrong.!

Looks like an external GPS or GPS antenna to me, but without looking at it, it is hard to tell.

When I got the Bongo it had one of those Jap radios which I replaced rapidly with a proper one!!!!
The addzest gismo didn't appear to be connected to anything (and still doesn't).
I also have a TomTom.
You have answered my query between you - addzest currently adding nothing to the quality of life etc so dump it.
