Lumpy tick over

We are down in cornwall on hols and have noticed that the tickover is a little lumpy,the revs maybe a tad low .the van is fine when driving.just tick over is not normal.anyone know what this maybe?got the twin tank kit fitted for vegi oil,no air in fuel lines...as we have clear fuel lines.

Thanks for reply,but don't think so as I have a seperate filtr for veg and diesel,same on both fuels

Have you got the aircon on? Maybe the little vacuum pipe, that raises the revs when aircon is switched on, has broken.

Under the driver's seat, by the cylinder head and hiding 2 of the glow plugs, you'll see two small vacuum operated valve things (sorry, can't think of a better description :oops: ) I believe it's the right hand one. Be very careful as most of the stubs, that the pipes fit on, will have gone very brittle :roll:

Thanks fella,i will have a (LOOK) as its driving ok may not touch things till we get back,spose could pop into a friendly garage in plymouth if get stuck.

brill thanks for all your help its cracked now,it was a little pipe that was not pushed home fully..

runs a treat again =D>

Good news Jez :D I had to replace the vacuum solenoid on mine.
