There were a few comments about how well behaved and relaxed all the dogs were this weekend - we put it down to them not having to be on leads but i noticed that chip was spending a lot of time rolling on some purple flowers which our dog rolls on at home -so i looked it up - its prunella vulgaris which is used for lots of herbal remedys in humans and animals - could this be the choice weed of the canine world could it be marketable ? :-k

Well... Jo and I went to the field tonight met Harry, sorted the recycling of the rubbish bags , and took the marquee down. Earlier Jo took a cheque for £320 to one of the playing fields committee members, they seemed well pleased, another member who lives close to the field said she enjoyed the music !! So it looks like it's all go for the same next year !!!

Well what can I say peeps....another NorthWest/Yorkshire Classic enhanced by a Scottish contingent!

First thanks has to go to Chris & Jo and family for sorting the meet out and laying on a very special night for me on Saturday. The fantastic poster is up on my wall and is being much admired by family & friends. We never got around to the cake at the meet so we are having a family/friends christening party at the weekend for the shed and toasting the bongo crowd as part of the celebrations.

Now to the gang. What an amazing group of nutters. The theme costumes were fantastic but I have to mention my rabbit family that appeared from nowhere. Couldn't stop laughing until Di & Jamie appeared wearing those photo maskes and scared the hell out of me  Thanks for all your efforts..it really is what makes being part of the bongo crowd so special.

Sadly the prospect of getting another bongo in the forseeable future is looking even more remote now that I've aquired a shed to tow. But if you lot can live with it I'll be more than honoured to keep coming along to meets.

Thanks again to everyone for a very special weekend.

cheers

Thanks Pixie on the moon and Harry for a fantabulous weekend. We arrived after a very scenic route from Scarborough hol.

Plenty of fun was had. Weather on Saturday was crackin flags and so we chilled an chatted and chatted more.

Ady was spoilt rotten by Mountain Goat who presented him, complete with waiters cloth, a cooked scottish breakfast. Not jealous in the slightest honest, grrrrrr.

Not many pics from us as we were far to busy catching up with peeps  .

Might have a little vid of someone who was extremley funny on the saturday night and he may have been scottish.  I shall say no more.

Really looking forward to the next time we can all meet again.

Bongo on. =D> =D>
