how to drain and flush the coolant system whats the capacity

WAS wondering what the capacity of a drained coolant system is.
Also just removed raidiator and let coolant out of hoses cold should i run the engine to drain?
TO flush do you just pour in water through expansion tank and fill then let it come out of the bleed hose or should engine be running to flush .
THIS IS MY FIRST BLEED YOUVE ALL GOT ME WEEING MYSELF WITH TALES OF WOE. :?
I filled it up with hose and just let it out of the bleed hose stated the engine and let it run for 5 to 10 mins till water was clear. then took off bottom hose with engine off and let it drain.
It only took 5 litres of pre mix, so themostat wasnt opened so not bled properly .i will bleed it properly tomorrow.

Read the fact sheet and bleed it properly takes ages to open the stat but it must be opened.

searching will give you the instructions as they are about
