Side Window Bolts

Post by voyager » Thu Jun 25, 2009 3:19 pm

Loving our new bongo but have noticed that one of the covering bolts on the side window is missing, we have the internal but not the outside bit - any ideas on how to get a replacement?

Sorry for not using the correct technical term ! :D

Have you tried one of the vehicle breakers on here...shouldn't be hard to get
Cheers

If this is the back window behind the sliding door, it does not open and looks as though there is a bit missing.

I thought the same with mine, then realised it would catch the sliding door if it opened.

Enjoy the V6 they are great fun. :D

Thanks but it is the bolts/cap on the outside of the window that's missing (the thingy that holds the window on!) told you i was good with the technical names.

Thanks

The one that commonly falls off is the one on the outside of the side window behind the driver (and opposite the sliding door). Ours did this on the motorway and we had to temporarily tie the window shut... we had to improvise with the camera strap and dog lead. 8)
