Air con....works in back not in front

The air con in our bongo is only working in the back, not front. All the lights are on and the engine noise changes slightly when it is turned on but nothing blows. The other day it briefly stopped working and then came on again and the temp is still very cool when it was working. As a complete novice in anything mechanical I would say it seems like a loose connection.

Anyone have any ideas? Is it a nice simple problem that any garage could tackle or does the bongo have air con issues that no other car has?
Probably means we will now have a hot spell until it is fixed!

Separate fans front & rear, sounds like the front fan or fan resistors may be stuffed - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 43&t=28727 may help

Mines the opposite,i gave up on the rear,even the basic fan has given up.
Best of luck,looking at the forcast it may come in handy.
