Air Vent replacement

In our recently aquired bongo the drivers side air vent is damaged. Can anyone tell me if these are easy to replace and how to do it. Also if you can suggest where I can get a replacement that would be useful too.

I've done one ours - it was quite 'physical'! Seem to remember using a blade/butter knife.
