In conjunction with Pixie & the Moon we've arranged the following meet.

Friday 24th - Sunday 26th July

Allithwaite Village Hall & Playing Fields, Nr Grange over Sands.

Unlimited non hookups. No hookups but generators allowed until 11.00pm
Male and female showers & loos (home & away team changing rooms)
Flat, well drained pitches on grass.
Pitches £10 per night. Procedes to village hall fund. Exclusive to bongo forum members and their guests.

Jacobs join on Friday evening from 7.30pm

CUMBRIA STEAM GATHERING on Saturday & Sunday just down the road at Flookburgh. The largest gathering of vintage vehicles in the North West + lots of other entertainment + a funfair. http://www.steamgathering.org.uk

Two good pubs within walking distance.

HARRY'S 60th BIRTHDAY BASH on Saturday night in the village hall = communal BBQ. Theme & futher details to ba announced.

GEOCACHING With over 50 geocaches with a fewv km of Allithwaite including quite a few set by yours truly this is a great chance to get stuck in to this sport. No doubt I can find a bit of time to help out.

Don't miss this one!

No need to pre-book but we would like to know who is coming so that we can make appropriate arrangements.

It's unlikely we'll be able to camp but we will make it for one of the days, probably the Saturday. On the Monday we're off on a "Muz Tour" for three weeks so could perhaps do with rounding a few things up on the Sunday!

Yes please Harry - sounds like a great idea for a weekend. I haven't told Mark but if he/they don't want to come I shall come without them!

We went down to take a couple of shots of the field yesterday

This is the community hall the showers are at the back of it.

View of the beautiful fell behind us, it is a lovely walk in itself.

There are also some tennis courts if anyone wants to bring their Rackets and balls.
