In my line of work i find a plethora of people who are only too keen to shed what's "surplus to requirement" for the sake of fitting a size 8 dress, and they would be only too happy to allow it to be used in the automotive industry.

Same reason you don't find leather seats very often as standard in Japanese cars for their home market.

Ah Kelv, you seem very certain that an inanimate object (such as PVC) is devoid of any conscience or even a "soul".

But, would the medium in question not acquire the spirit of an individual during the process of (say) upholstering a car seat?
Or even an additional spiritual dimension to the car seat in question?

What oil do you use in your Bongo, apart from leftover liposuction fat was it ?

I don't believe you ever mentioned the type oil you use..

I didn't know what oil I used, that's why I asked the Q

That is a conundrum.
I can see your dilemma.
Would it not be better to obtain a reference point and ask "what grade of oil do i have in my vehicle"?
If you are currently satisfied with the running of the engine with regards to lubricant then a like for like oil change would suffice.

Ah, but I never put it in to start with.

So, it will probably remain a mystery for ever.
The engine runs exceptionally smoothly, the pistons, you can hardly hear moving.
Maybe I will just leave the existing oil in until the engine self destructs, wouldn't want to shorten it's life by changing the wonderful oil.
