AFT Roof Light Switch Location

Post by Rhod » Wed Jun 03, 2009 10:41 pm

We were away last weekend in Knoydart & noticed that the light inside the AFT isn't working (bulb ok!). I'm guessing that the problem is probably that the switch which automatically turns the light off when the AFT is dropped is sticking. Problem is that I can't work out where the switch is! Anyone happen to know it's location?

My AFT light stopped working and it was a build up of moisture/corrosion on the lamp contacts and internal switch. Try giving it a good clean inside.

Think I saw the limit switch at the weekend. Will have a look and post tomorrow.

Its controlled from the AFT module that is located in the rear offside pillar see this photo asking about it recently.
The wiring diagrams don't have any info about what's in the module but the rest of the wiring is below;

Thanks both.
I'll see if I get a chance to investigate this weekend.
