Oil leak! Holiday looming!! HELP!!!

P reg 1996 2.5 diesel

Have developed an oil leak seemigly from a loosely fitted FRam filter (after a service...!)

Tightening the filter seemd to sort it but leak has now returned.

Mechanic advises to use the 'official' Bongo filter???

ANyone any info on why one filter would behave differently to another please?

yes there was a batch of filters that leaked so I presume there are different fittings involved somewhere


A new filter will fix this quickly
