Hi All. Got home today with a length of wiring harness dragging under the van.

Have traced it see diagram below, but have no idea what it's for. So with all the knowledge on this site i'm hopeing someone will know. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

From the battery and the box then just dangles down RHS of engine and drags on deck.

Cant see anywhere obvious that it should connect to and havn't found anything lights etc that dosnt work.

Just worried it's somthing important on engine managment/sensors/warnings etc.

Looks like the remains of some twin tones?

Most of the Bongo wiring seems to be well supported, and runs through the fuse box/s

Any wiring added later, as Dobby's picture suggests it prob is, is usually tacked-up with a few cable-ties (at best), or insulation tape, and can be prone to working loose.

If the horns have been removed, and the cables not tied back, then you will get loose wiring.
If everything else (electrics-wise) is working on the van, then it's a good bet that it's just for the horns, you might find the fuse has blown if dragging on the road has chafed through the wires.

Take it off if you don't need it, try reconnecting it if you do.

I wouldn't be too worried 'bout it.

Advertise it on ebay as "rare Bongo wiring loom" - you could make a fortune. :)

Mine came with the wiring for spotlights (since removed) tied up out the way. If it hadn't of been I guess it might have done what your mystery wires have done. You might have a harness (and relay) sitting there ready for spotlights
