glove box light

can anyone help with this, i'm looking at put a light in the glove box which will come on when i open it, has anyone done this if so can you put me in the right direction for this nice little mod.
i don't really want to put a little LED push light in the glove box if i can help it.
Bongo now work later !!! :) :)

not done this myself but a door int. push switch might work or try a saab 9000 glove box switch. I used to own a saab and I'm sure that it was fitted with a push switch.

the saab one did!!
the switch was operated when you opened the glove box sorry can't post a picture as I don't own the saab anymore the lid of the glove box pushed the switch when closing it thus breaking the circit.

That is the same with lots of 80's & 90's cars you just need to have a search around in a scrapyard - you should be able to get the switch and the actual light unit for next to nothing, it then just needs a power feed and an earth.
