front heater matrix plumbing

A couple of days ago i was alerted by our low coolant alarm (thanks Haydn) to a water leak on our bongo.
So today i did some investigation and traced it to a cracked pipe on the front heater matrix where it goes through the bulkhead.
Now awaiting parts on order.
However whilst looking at lushprojects i realised our bongos heater pipes to the front matrix were transposed and must have been like that for at least a couple of years as the hoses to the matrix have not been touched since we bought it.the heaters has been working fine.
I was wondering if anybody else has come across the same.
