What a lovely few days off - sunshine all the way (even if it did get B----- cold in the evenings
Great to meet old friends again and enjoy some friendly banter.
Anna and Jimmy setting up the NAAFI - food parcels hadn't been unpacked YET

A couple of Andrew and my Bongos before the others arrived

Relaxing after the food parcels had been consumed

Thanks to everybody for making it a very enjoyable break, especially Anna and Jimmy, without whom we would have undoubtedly starved to death

Still working on the Halloween week camp........ still looks like Peterborough area is best(A1/A47) so we can include other areas too....if I don't see you before, have a good one at Poole and see you at Stourport

Thanks everyone for the welcome we recieved on Saturday afternoon. Normally we pull in and get everything set up for the evening, but we spent so much time talking and renewing aquaintences, that we were a bit tardy in getting organised. Nice to meet you Anna and Jimmy (thanks for our big b.b.q food parcel), Mike and Hazel, thanks for the Bongo relay and Sylvia, John and Andrew it was really good to get back in the fold with you all.
We were of course upset when our Bongo was stolen early in the year, but beacuse of the good times we had before that we decided that we had to have another and stick with the club. Well this overnighter just proved how right we were in doing this, great people, great location and great weather (bit chilly in the evening) made for an enjoyable time.
Thank you fellow Bongoists
Ginge and Chris
