faulty fuel gauge
Hi there, totally new to this and bongos in general having bought one only 2 months ago...Anyway, my fuel gauge has been playing up, Ive been following the posts on the subject and have had a go myself at fixing the problem....Ive pulled the two wires from the connector that goes into the housing on the sender unit, attached spade connectors to the wires inculding an additonal earth wire which i have connected to the seat mount, however I now cannot remember which is the live and earth connector that i reconnect to on the sender unit??Looking down on it, which is the horizontal pin and which is the vertical pin??

Re: faulty fuel gauge
Hi you don't say which vehicle type you have and there are two wiring diagrams which might help, look at the connectors for the wire colours and orientation;
WL-T the connector is C1-04 in the lower panels

FE-E or J5-DE the connector is B5-02

sorry about delay in getting back, will have another look tomorrow, looks complicated to me though!!!!...any other simpler suggestions would be great too...I basically need to know which prong is the earth and which is the live on top of my sender unit...
