Rear seat floor bracket removal

Post by stilldesperate » Sat Apr 25, 2009 6:39 pm

Anyone know how to remove the rear (split) seat "U" bracket that's through the floor. I've taken the rear offside seat out, and can't find the bolts, even with the spare wheel off. :?

It's now a toe-stubbing bracket!

It does not bolt from underneath, look under the carpet either side of the u bracket ,you will find the bolts holding them down.
Lost without my Bongo.

Thanks, DBO.

It's not high on the list of things to do, but would be nice to remove it. If it needs the carpet up, it will have to wait!

I have removed the kitchen unit fron the center to the rear. It may have to be removed again. A nice peice of carpet covers the offending bracket just in case . :)
