what tyre do i need to use.
if i've got 15" which currently have 215/65 r15 96h rear
and on the front 195/70 r15 92h

from my other post that all seems ok i can stay with those sizes or match the front and rear i'm guessing that means i'll be looking at 215/65 r15 96h front and rear.

what size tyres do i need to for 16", 17" and 18" alloys.

which make of tyre is the best to use for an aft 4x4

Well to save you searching a bit, lol, I have 215's all round on 15" rims and have done so since I bought da bongo five years ago, I have been using Nangkang which are good and 96H rated but now are trying out Accelera tyres at £35.00 each fitted, lol, I find these even better than the Nangkang, they seem quieter and give better grip in the wet, they are 100V rated. Loads of people will have info re different tyres, the choice is up to you. Mine is a flat top but I dare say the tyres will be the same.

Be careful as to sizes as the 4WD can suffer diff issues if you get that wrong.

I've recently switched to Accelara too and can say they seem very good so far, quieter and good grip, and many places now sell them for a great price, I paid the same as for my previous 215/70R15's.

I changed my 15" Nankangs for 15" Goodyears.
Totally different to the Nankangs, in a different and better kind of way
Don't know how the Goodyears will wear in comparison, but noise levels, grip levels and ride smoothness are all improved with the Goodyear.
Seems like a different car as a result.
The Nankangs were old, no idea who put them on, think it was the original importer.

I had 215/70/15 on mine all round when we bought it and they were the japanese winter tyres,i didnt like the ride so changed them for 215/65/15 accellera's all round when we bought some original second hand bongo alloys, found the ride much better and handling was good too.Good looking tyre and would buy again £168.00 fitted and balanced,

HOW MUCH?...I paid nearly 60 quid for a single Barnum tyre last year to replace a shredded tyre...Good puncture repairs are only 2 quid with a new valve though....I see why some English firms will courier tyres/ wheels throughout Europe!!!.....that's got me thinking!!!

Yes, Goodyear GT2s, lovely smooth ride.
Quieter too.
Compared to the Nankangs.
