and thanks all...apologies for all the questions but for some reason with my bongo I want to learn about it...with cars in the past I've had no interest whatsoever

Just found this http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp by far the best tyre size calculator I've seen so far.

Enter the standard size (Rear 215/65-15) and up to 4 different tyre/wheel size combinations, it then shows how they compare and the difference they make to gearing etc.
