Assuming it's a diesel.................
Blocked fuel filter(s).
Main fuel filter or Banjo fuel filter in top of injector pump - or both.
Do a search on "blocked filter" you'll find lots of info.

Hi
Just a wild thought...you haven't sucked up a plastic bag in the air intake?...it has happened to other members with similar symptoms
Cheers

In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.

Re: DRAMATIC LOSS OF POWER
Whilst digging for the filter once the bolt is removed,be careful not to lose the spring that sits atop the tiny gauze filter in the channel...The filter is like a tiny little thimble, and looks to be quite fragile... There is an EXACT sized blunted philips screwdriver that i use to extract the filter with.... (in DBO's toolbox
) It's a perfect size for gripping the inside of the filter without damaging it.

Re: DRAMATIC LOSS OF POWER
Make sure you get the long cotton buds . i had the short ones, and was afraid of dropping it into the hole,( wasn't sure if i had a banjo filter in there). as Ste said we found a screwdriver that was perfect for removing the spring and the filter.dandywarhol wrote:A cotton bud will do less damageJust don't use it in your ear afterwards
