I'm off to look at a Freda in Kendall...

Post by Sluggy » Thu Apr 02, 2009 6:27 pm

...this saturday morning. I don't really know that much about them apart from all the fantastic advice from some peeps on here, and there's no substitute for experience, so I was wondering If anyone was in the area on sat and fancied coming and having a look with me? Any volunteers will be totally sorted out with beers and much good vibeage :D

Make sure you take Harry up on his offer. Hard to beat a better set of Bongo eyes to tag along with in that part of the world.

Good luck with it Sluggy. We are only 10mins south of Kendal but on sat morning Jamie will hopefully be sorting out the brakes on ours as we want to go away in it on sat night, otherwise we could easily have come and helped you out. Harry has a few years and nearly 250,000km of freda experience under his belt though so you'll be just fine with him. Good luck. If you wanna call for a brew Harry can point you in our direction 8)
Is it a private sale or dealer? I'm off to Kendal in the morning and if its a dealer I could have a quick reccy for you?

Brilliant news. And what fantastic weather we have in the North West over Easter for cruising off into the countryside in your new beauty. Great motors huh? :D

Fit a low coolant alarm if it doesnt have one already to protect your precious. 8)

I'm booked in with mike at wheelquick this week.

What security would people recommend? I'm going to get a cat1 alarm and immobiliser fitted this wk considering my location and history(mind you nothings gonna help when they break into your house and nick the keys!)
