Headlight relay

Post by andyb » Fri Apr 03, 2009 2:35 pm

Hi

Does anybody know where to get a new headlight relay from? Or does anybody know the part number?
I have no headlights and have traced the problem to the headlight relay. I now just need to find a new one. It looks as though it is connected to the rear light relay. Can they be seperated or are they one unit?

Help would be greatly appreciated

I've not actually taken the rubber hood off but I would be very surprised if they are not separate units. I read somewhere that the pinouts of the relays are non-standard, so it might be best to get an original one - have a look at those breaking old Bongo's for a suitable one.

Hi,

Take a look at lushprojects for the part number.

Also don't forget the bongo shop on here maybe able to help or:

A good Mazda dealer, or Japanese Auto Solutions, you'll need your chassis number for this.

Of finally a breaker, if you trust a 2nd hand one and can get one at a reasonable price, many places want more or nearly as much as a new one so research your prices.

Best to stick to the proper part.

Thanks, i did look on lush projects but it doesn't really make much sense. I have tried a few places but haven't found anyone that stocks it yet. Have another couple of places to check out tomorrow
