HEADLIGHTS
I currently have no headlights on my bongo, dipped or main beam. I changed the bulbs, changed the fuse, still no lights.
I believe there is a headlight relay? does anyone know where this is? I have looked through other posts and althogh the relay is mentioned, no one seems to have said where
Also, does anyone know if this relay is the same as any others so i can cross connect then and see if that is the problem.
Any help would be greatly apprecitated

Re: HEADLIGHTS
hi the relays are located behind the battery or attached to the inner wing, dont know which one is for the headlights i am afraid, but if you have a multi meter then you can check for voltage, or just swap and change them between each other to find the faulty one. i think they are all the same relays
, apart from the glowplug relay but you will be able to tell that when you see it

Re: HEADLIGHTS
Thanks, i think checking for a voltage with a miltimeter is the best option. I'll give that a go
Re: HEADLIGHTS
Interesting - I have just checked my V6 and I have 4 relays. Any idea what the other one could be?

Re: HEADLIGHTS
my old bongo had them in the same place, but my 2 year newer bongo has 2 behind the battery and 2 on the inner wing.

Re: HEADLIGHTS
When you look at there diagrams there are 55 sheets covering all the relays and different permutations! Older versions don't have relays for the headlights and Tail lights even, so you can pretty much take your choice

Re: HEADLIGHTS
Thanks Geoff, i'll try the relays when i'm home at the weekend. Hopefully that'll be the problem
