Dodgy fuel gauge

Post by wend1968 » Mon Mar 23, 2009 7:20 pm

Hi there. Can anybody help. Just lately my petrol gauge has been playin up, telling me its not full when the diesel is piddling out all over my feet. Is it a sender unit inside the tank that has gone tits up and can it be rectified. Concerned about how much is left in my tank when its telling me its empty. Cheers

have a search wend it is on here and easy to do, just means pulling up the carpet between the middle and rear seats to get at the plate with the sender underneath, quick clean and new earth wire and away you go, easy..it must be cause I did it.lol.
