AFT NOT WORKING
I have just tried to raise my AFT for the first time this year, on pressing the open button I get the bleeping but no sound from the motor or movement from the roof. Have checked handbrake on, selector in neutral and fuses. Any suggestions and where do I find the motor for the roof?
Re: AFT NOT WORKING
make sure handbrake warning light is on, on the dash, if not, look at wires on handbrake switch under the cover you remove for looking at engine bay. This happened to me the other day. I have my gear selecter in P. Am I doing that wrong?
If that dont work, kick the tyres until someone else comes up with something, may just dislodge something and start working again

Re: AFT NOT WORKING
Try giving it a helping hand up while pressing the switch, may just be a dodgy contact/micro switch. The motors are at the rear, not exactly accesible with the roof down.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Re: AFT NOT WORKING
YOU NEED TO DO ALL OF THE ABOVE
engine running
in P for park
handbrake on (with light showing on dash)
then if no luck try checking the wire on the handbrake,
and give a gentle push to help the roof up after you've checked everything.
all that should then work.(with any luck)
