towbar electrics

Post by tay » Sat Mar 21, 2009 10:08 am

hi guys, would i be right in thinking that a standard single electrics will suffice on the bongo, without the need for extra relays as used on vehicles with a multiplexed or can-bus type wiring.cheers tay.

The extra "S" type socket is only usefull if you tow a
caravan and need to keep the fridge topped up. it
also provides reversing lights and a supply to charge
the caravan leisure battery.

The standard "N" type socket is all you need otherwise
and much simpler to fit and wire.
