Glad you got it sorted, I had some luck with mine today as well which is good news, although on the down side I will no longer be able to pass wind if needed with my young lady in the car and get away with it. I must get a dog !!!

What's all this with a V8, wonder if one would fit should the old one give up the ghost? There is a vid on youtube with an older shaped bongo with a V8 fitted in Aus, however it sticks out like a hot rod in reverse.

Will it fit.......................yes.
How about a 4.6lt 4x4 conversion from a Range Rover?
You could then fit twin turbos and scare the boy racers.
Why not use laughing gas too..... Then frighten supercars?
Serious, the V8 that Rover used is a light all alloy motor that weighs the same as an MGB 1800 so if you remove a heavy 2.5 diesel engine ( I know you have a 6) its a win win situation.
To infinity and beyond

Take a look at a modern superbike Cheffy.............Where is there any lump of iron?..............Small close construction all alloy and a natural asperated 1000cc puts out more power than a Bongo. Nuff said?
